Gee, things have become more rigorous since I had a
mercury spill in my lab five years ago.  I called the
safety office and they didn't want to have anything
to do with me.  They told me to get a bottle of
sulfur powder and sprinkle the contents over the
mercury and clean it up myself.  No mask, no gloves,
no booties...  I wore a pair of Playtex (TM) dish-
washing gloves.  Don't know if I ever got it all, either.

It's beautiful outside and I'm here typing, that's
depressing!
