I just was thinking to myself that things were going ok; I'm having a rather
fun IAP, and I've gotten some neat stuff done on a programming project I'm
writing.
Then I realized that the first anniversary of the war I spent six weeks
protesting last year is tomorrow (yes, that's a really bad sentence), and that
I still don't understand any better than I did then why my country fought it,
and that in the context of the recession, and its so-called "popularity" it's
not even going to be a real issue during the campaign this year, when the
Republicans are going to ensure 16 years in the white house, unfortunately.
Maybe I'll move to Finland.
