Minor wreck

I skidded on a sharp curve (the road was wet) a couple days ago and
ended up bouncing the right front tire off the curb. It did an
impressive amount of damage to the tire; however, upon replacing it
with the spare everything still worked.

I went to NTW to get the car checked out, and it turns out (according
to them) that I knocked the front assembly off by 1.5 degrees. (The
have a funky machine to determine this.) Anyway, correcting for that
and replacing both front tires (to keep in sync) and getting the rear
weels aligned as well (just for kicks) cost $160.

$160 is a lot just for running into a curb. Oh well, I guess it could
have been much worse.
