I have heard no stories, be they positive or negative, about SAS.

I personally knew of one person who went to the Med Ctr who was then
immediately sent to McLean Psychiatric Hospital. Said person had just gone
through midterms and a long Assassin game, and had not gotten any sleep.
Not prime conditions for an appointment -- and the psych on the other did
not realize this either. The assignment orders did not give said person
leave to release themselves -- parental consent was required. (Utter
bullshit, under the circumstance.)

I have heard (third-hand) of violations of confidence and of gross error in
transferring patients to hospitals (including the above). Even though they
are third-hand, i believe they are fairly reliable, especially since there
are numerous stories (at least 2 people involved in multiple cases). (With
stories like these, third-hand stories are usually close to worthless...)
No first-hand info, i must say.

It essentially boils down to: when i was considering going to the Med Ctr
for help, i kept putting it off, for fears of the above. (Fortunately, i
managed to swing about 2 weeks after that...)

It's the violations of confidence (which are the most supportable of the
third-hand stories) that really want me take large, sharp, pointy knives to
the people there...
