Another viewpoint: When I came here, I thought I would end up as course
2, 6, or 10. I decided that I liked chemistry, didn't have an aptitude
for mechanics (based on 8.01), and enjoyed writing programs but not
debugging. I ended up course 10, and after a couple of courses decided
that it was a good choice. Then I took 7.05 and decided to add course 7
as a second major. I enjoy biology, but I don't think like a course 7
type and had a bit of trouble with it. My advice, based on my
experiences is don't choose a major based on just one course, and you're
never locked into anything that makes you unhappy.
