Unfortunately SIPB members have a history of doing non-computer-related
things in groups, and the people who choose not to do a particular thing
(or aren't part of the clique) are simply left out and ignored. Some
recent examples include:
roof and tunnel hacking
the MIT Gilbert and Sullivan Players
NERO
bridge
If you are actively flaming about the bridge-playing group, I recommend
that you look over the above list and ask yourself how often you find
yourself in the "included" group and how often you find yourself in the
"excluded" group.
