My house got broken into yesterday. Nothing of mine was stolen, but
one of my housemates lost a $400 camera, a gold necklace and a walkman
that she had borrowed from someone else, and another of my housemates
lost a bicycle. On the more cheery site of things (if there is a
cheery side of things in situations like this), one of my housemates
was *in* the house and asleep when it happened, and didn't get hurt,
although she quite possibly could have.
And, besides that, another of my housemates is edghing closer and
closer to a mental breakdown, and I don't know if there's anything we
can do to help her avoid it this time. (It's happened once before,
and we managed through quite a bit of effort to put her back on track.
But that's a long story....)
