Beware the ides of may

Well, not quite, but close enough....

My father died on May 6, 1980 (and was buried on my mother's
birthday - May 9).

My father's brother died 3 years ago tomorrow.
On the same day, my SO at the time told me she wanted to break up.

My maternal grandmother died 2 years ago on May 8 (and was buried on
May 10, the day my mother celebrated as her birthday after my father's
death).
One week later, said former SO (who was still a good friend)
attempted (and came thisclose to to succeeding -- was saved by
sheer luck) to kill herself.
Finals and finishing up thesis were just soooo fun after that.

My paternal grandparents were in a bad car crash this morning.
My grandmother has a chip in a vertebra (this is like only a month
getting out from the hospital where she was for 4 months due to an
infection that resulting in her losing her right leg below the knee),
and my grandfather has two broken arms, many broken ribs, a punctured
lung, some bleeding into the cranial cavity, and has been unconscious
all day.

Meanwhile, some of my wonderful (sarcasm) relatives are all trying to
figure out how they can get valuables out of my grandparents' house,
and all the stereotypical scheming over potential inheritances that
you see in movies in beginning.

And I'm continuing to get blown off left and right trying to find a job.

Gee, I just love May sooooooooooooo much.
