today really sucked.

All in one day:
- The psych office seems to have lost my concentration papers... for
the second time. I don't have the time to look for my copies, nor
go through the rigamarole of redoing them *again*. (Their explanation?
"We just switched over to a new filing system...")
- My thesis advisor is out of town for the sixth day in a row, and I
have heard nothing about when he'll be back. I talked to Ann Hunter,
and even she doesn't know exactly what to do (regarding the thesis
deadline) in this situation.
- I find out that TMC is about to adopt a new security system, which means
that I can only work on my thesis on weekdays, during business hours,
while I'm physically there. (Of course, I can even do that only if I
can find free machines to work on. Hah.) The upshot of it: I have
ONE WEEK to finish my thesis. After that, I won't get much of a chance.
- While desperately trying to get my thesis code to compile and work
tonight, I essentially got kicked off of my own machine by someone
pulling rank.
- My long-overdue GSL has been put off indefinitely because I apparently
messed up something on my references. I gave the same ones that I've
used for three years, but apparently some rules changed somewhere...
If it doesn't come through soon, either my name gets taken off the
degree list, or I take money out of a CD that hasn't matured yet.
(Which would suck in the long run.)
- An unknown housemate broke one of my mugs and didn't repair it, nor
apologize, nor even clean it up, really.
