Indeed, I concur on this point. The main reason I attend church services when
I'm visiting my parents is to renew the friendships I have there. My faith
(actually, lack thereof*) has little to do with it.
*: I'm not at all convinced about the various beliefs and dogmas about
miracles, etc., but I do find that the moral code/ethos instilled from the
church has stood me in good stead.
