I remember a history teacher I had in jr. high, who was all of about 25, and
his beard (and mustache, and head hair for that matter) were quite thoroughly
peppered with gray.  His opinion on the subject was "Better prematurely gray
than prematurely bald."
Me, I think dark-haired people look great when they start going gray (like
my father).  Light-haired people like me and my mother just get paler, which
isn't nearly as interesting.
