Subject: ARA gets food service nod for summer Olympics
PHILADELPHIA (UPI) -- ARA Services said Thursday it will be the food
service manager of the 1992 Summer Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain.
Through the course of the competition scheduled to run from July 25
through Aug. 9, ARA expects to serve more than 1 million meals -- enough
to feed one meal to all residents of Delaware and Vermont.
ARA's Olympic shopping list includes 470,000 pounds of meat, 42,500
gallons of milk, 250 tons of fruit and 103,500 loaves of bread.
