I don't get sentimental very often, and I don't worry about how "good"
my friends are very often.
I probably would have avoided doing so on my birthday, if it weren't
for other unfortunate events which took place (in particular, being
stood up for the nth time an hour before our date on Saturday night by
my ex-girlfriend).
I don't really care all that much about birthdays. I'm just in a
melancholy mood about the whole thing...
