i want those eyes, those eyes that look at the world with confidence, that
see the clarity and joy in the world, those eyes that have seen the love that
waits for all of us... i want those eyes. i want to look into those eyes and
discover their secrets... i want those eyes to look at me and smile, assuring
me that i too can have those eyes... someday, if i only let go... and that
when i let go, i won't fall into a bottomless pit... i want those eyes of
love, of confidence, of joy...
...but for now, i must tool, tool until i drop, and hope that someday those
eyes will find me and someday i will have those eyes...
...what else can i do but live my life, and in the back of my mind, behind
my thoughts, wait for those eyes?
