Here's my list:
Broke my windshield.
Got up at 7:30 this morning after 3 hours of sleep to dance at King Richard's
Faire (in Carver, Mass., ~80 miles from my house) only to arrive and have the
faire close due to rain. I guess rain isn't period.
Having half a cup of hot coffee spilled on me.
I agree with Ted--a backrub and about a 15-minute hug would make everything
more all right, but neither looks likely in the immediate future.
