It amazes me that in a world where everyone must die sooner or later (but see footnote below) we expend so much effort to prevent people from dying, especially when they would prefer it that way. footnote: only about 85% of the people who have existed on Earth have died so far, but we assume the remaining 15% will sooner or later.
