Let me not forget the pain.
Let me not forget the anger.
Let me not forget the misunderstanding.
Let me not forget that it was not meant to be.
Let me not forget that he is himself and no one else.
Let me not forget that I cannot change him nor should I try.
Let me not forget when he smiles at me.
Let me not forget when he speaks a kind word.
Let me not forget when I am lonely.
Please, do not let me forget that it's over and done with and there is no
turning back. If I forget that, I am hopelessly lost.
Please, let this bracelet of yarn remind me that there are some things in
this world that I just can't have and that I shouldn't pursue.
Please, let me not forget when I look into his eyes.
