I only really got burned badly in the places that I hadn't gotten slightly burnt already that weekend (on Cape Cod.) Since I was wearing a "frat shirt" on cape cod but a normal tee shirt on the 4th, my upper arms burnt... I was using some SPF15 [thanks, julie!] but wasn't that careful about it except on my hands, which swelled but didn't burn.
