Being sick every day this week....
Mon - 102 fever
Tues - 103.5 fever + "the runs" = check into Mass General
diagnosed as virus, gived 1 liter of IV fluid, sent home
Wed - 101.5 fever + "the runs"
Thurs - 101 fever + "the runs"
Friday - 99-100 fever + "the runs" + dehydrated again = Mass General again
this time 2 liters of IV, diagnosis changed to bacterial infection
and I am to expect at least two more days of sickness....
Instructed to eat rice, bananas, toast, and guzzle Gatorade
[get some extra calories and keep electrolytes in balance]
God, I just LOVE June so far........ :-(
And the worst part is that I can't blame it on ARA. RATS!
Talk about being sick for nothing.
