Adlar mentioned concerns with html viewing, and replying to attachments.
 I haven't seen signs that either of these would be changed in a newer exmh.

The issue of file attachments getting mangled when quoted in replies is
an issue that the MH system has always been bad with, and will probably
be unchanged in a new version.  Exmh has a simple tcl/tk based html
browser written into it, I haven't seen any mention changes to the html
component in the release announcements.

If you are not attached to exmh, you could test the "Evolution" mail
program, which can be run from somewhere within the Gnome foot menu.  It
can read your MH folders, and handles html email and attachments with
less difficuly than exmh does.
