I don't mean to be a pest, but it would be good to know how long till
these get fixed (I was told "we'll fix this quick" sometime last
week), as I have several papers I'm holding onto until I can get a
good roman font (yup, I'm converting Scribe to TeX). I don't terribly
mind waiting, since I'm not doing the work, but it would be good to
know how long (i.e. days or months)...

the bugs (again)

when I xdvi (old or new) a file, it barfs, saying that character 174
isn't defined in cmr10:
% xdvi.new starting.dvi
Can't find font t-ita; using cmr10 instead at 420 dpi
Can't find font c-med; using cmr10 instead at 420 dpi
Can't find font t-rom; using cmr10 instead at 420 dpi
Can't find font t-rom; using cmr10 instead at 510 dpi
Can't find font t-rom; using cmr10 instead at 360 dpi
xdvi.new: Character 174 not defined in font cmr10

(xdvi exits)

also, accents are too far to the left.
