Actually, the Makefile is inconsistent. It uses hard links locally,
but symbolic links for installs.
You're right. The symbolic link solution is, IMHO, a better one.
Whatever.
Btw, I'm not sure how SIPB maintains its sources, but you've had the
Makefile checked out for 2 months.
Actually, I've probably got tons of files checked out right now in
sipbsrc, because I'm pretty much the only person who does any major
work in many different directories in the locker -- I have been
working on updating the sources so that we can build a sipb locker
from scratch from sipbsrc, and this makes it necessary for me to check
out a lot of makefiles.
I've been meaning to do a recursive search for files I've got
checked out for a while now, but I haven't gotten around to it.
