   "call rpc returned 15
The webster server appears to be broken.
Please send mail to bug-sipb to let the SIPB know."

   Machine in question is fenchurch.mit.edu...

You have an incredibly outdated webster binary on your machine. I
suggest you copy a new one out of the sipb locker. If fenchurch isn't
running AFS (which I assume it is not, since I hear it is at release
5.5T even though the rest of the world is at release 6.4R), you can
log into Athena, copy the webster binary from the AFS sipb locker into
/mit/bitbucket, and then attach that on fenchurch and copy it onto
webster.

The reason your webster look-ups are failing is that snorkelwacker,
our old webster server, is no longer running a webster server. Your
binary has snorkelwacker's name hard-coded into it, while the newer
binaries do a hesiod look-up to find out which machine to make
dictionary requests to.
