two OLC users have complained today that pine has lost several inc'ed
messages. what seems to be happening is if a user is near- or over-quota,
if pine inc's messages and can't store them, it will drop them into a
void.
these users are rightfully upset at losing email, and i'd argue that it's
unacceptable behavior for an athena mail client. a simple wrapper script
to run quota -v and warn users would be sufficient to fix this problem,
or a more elegant solution could be carved.
