You don't specify which programs you use when you don't use pine, so
I'll have to guess. It's most likely that you use the MH programs
(inc and show, or exmh).

You can use pine's "Folder List" screen to look at the list of mail
folders that pine knows about (and can configure new mail folders
from the main menu's [S]etup screen). As currently configured, pine
should have an entry for "#mh/inbox" near the top of the folder list
screen which will be your old MH-style mail, and lower down on the folder
list screen is a "MH Folders" folder collection which has the rest of your
MH mail, if you use multiple MH folders.

Unfortunately, the answer to your second question is negative: you can't
configure pine's inbox to be the same as MH's inbox. Once you're in pine
you can move messages back and forth between the two inboxes by saving
them from one to the other, but new mail in pine goes into pine's inbox,
not into MH's inbox.

I hope this helps,
