A user called olc saying that he uses pine out of the sipb locker and
experienced the following:
user has pine running on private workstation
user is on campus, runs pine on cluster machine
a new message is grabbed off the server and appended to the end of the
last message in the inbox (msg 7), separated by a few pages of ^@
user returns home and pine has a message 7 and a message 8.
user quits pine and restarts and now has a message 7 containing both the
original message and now the ^@'s and the contents of what was message 8,
as he had also seen at the cluster machine.

I'm guessing this all stems from having pine open in two locations, but
even if so, that seems like some kind of bug to me.
