I tried building w3m with openssl support for various platforms, with
wildly varying success. Two large influences on the state of w3m for
irix were:
1.) The crypto locker contained an incompatible version of openssl
during the time that I was building w3m (and the upgrade was
complicated).
2.) My personal dislike for irix.
I imagine that another attempt could resolve this issue, and so I'll
try to update w3m in the next few days. If some other enterprising
soul would like to do so, feel free.
