I'm planning on deleting the following things in moira that point at
charon. Because of the way I expect to update machine names in moira,
they wouldn't follow the name charon anyway. Please let me knwo in
the next few days if you have a problem with any of these going away.
(bug-sipb: see the SLOC section).
printer:
The printer b11xp claims to be served by charon, but charon's never
heard of it.
filesystems:
the charon:var filesystem the new charon doesn't export /var anyway.
mitclh which points to the non-existant dir charon:/projects/clh
nfsphys:
all of the nfsphys entries (/ /mit /site /tmp /u1 /usr). These are
useful if you want a hesiod pointer pointing onto one of these
partitions. The new charon has it's own (for /u3) which will stay
with it.
SLOC entries: As far as I know charon has not supported any of these
services since it was upgraded from a VAX in late 1992 or early 1993.

* I'm also planning on removing the moira/hesiod equivalent of an
/etc/services entry for chat.
** I believe the 'local' service causes moira to cause mail to go to
user@machien.LOCAL rather than user@mit.edu when a user forwards their
mail (this is only an issue at the time the user runs chpobox) to
machine. Since people are unlikely to start forwarding more mail to
charon, supporting this seems unnecessary, but I'm willing to add the
sloc for the new charon if people really care.
