sedit comes up by default with a window with greater than 80 columns,
which means email I send sometimes exceeds screen width; I've been
unable to determine how to adjust this screen width...
Also, the issue I previously emailed about seems to have caused Exmh
to leak file descriptors, and results in the error message "couldn't
create pipe: too many open files"
