I'd like to help, but I don't yet have enough information to know
what's going on or what you were seeing. What do you mean when
you say that pine tells you have messages? How does it tell you,
when and where? How to you "open up" your inbox? (Which
keystrokes do you type to do it?) When you "close it down" and
"open it up again", do you mean that you're quitting and
restarting pine?
Sorry for asking so many questions, but I feel like you're
describing a situation that cannot exist. I'd need you to be a
lot more explicit and detailed about what you're experiencing
before I could figure out what's going on.
Sincerely,
Jacob Morzinski jmorzins@mit.edu
