Special. Sounds like one of the messages in your inbox is
triggering bug in pine. If I could figure out which part of your
inbox were causing the bug, I could fix it.

If you want to try to ignore the issue, you can run the previous
pine and pine-inc by running "pine3" and "pine-inc3". I'd love
to find out which part if your mail/inbox file is causing this
problem, so that I could fix it, but that would involve you and I
scheduling some time to meet, so that you can show me it
happening and that I can look at it with a debugger.

If you've got enough quota, it would be nice if you made a backup
copy of your present mail/inbox, just in case whatever it has
that currently bothers pine4 somehow gets cleaned up by pine3.
That way there'd be a guarantee that there's something to see if
we do meet to look at it. You can make a copy by quitting pine
and then:
 cd ~/mail
 cp inbox inbox.backup

Hope this helps,
 -Jacob
