We do not have permission to open users' private mail files (and indeed we
would not want to have this ability!). However, you yourself can get a list of
all the messages that are waiting for you on the server, using the following
sequence of commands:
athena% add sipb
athena% pop
pop: connect
pop: list
pop: quit
(If you have any trouble with this procedure, stop by our office (W20-557) and
we'll be glad to help.)
If indeed the message for which you're looking is on the server but is not
being downloaded by pine, then you probably have some pine configuration
problem which we can examine further if you stop in or phone. If the message
is not on the server and it seems that it's not accessible from pine, you might
try poking around in your "Mail/" subdirectory to see whether the mail has
ended up in some odd place.
