	I agree with this.  My impression so far is that binary
compatability between the i386_linux2 and i386_linux3 platforms is such
that building and maintaining seperate binaries for each will tend to
avoid problems in the long run.  Building for another platform is a
slight pain, but I think the benefits of making sure we have working
software for both Linux releases outweighs this concern.
