Same thing happens on mkc, and when I echo $TERM it says xterm.
(And the same thing happened for tivol on portnoy, and someone else
here earlier, I think, so I'm not doing anything weird on login, I
think. On the other hand, if it works for you... <shrug>)
It works for Omri on xcb now, but his TERM is vt100.
