depending on how exmh creates the sedit window (I recall that there
were some options there?), unmapping both windows may in fact be the
`right' thing to do according to the ICCCM.  I imagine that if it's a
wm issue, then vtwm.gamma does what twm does, and if that's the case,
then the exmh people have surely seen it before...
