sigh..
yeah, the sgi and sun versions sometimes freak, and
I haven't managed to consistently get them to freak
(it used to be a problem with particular modes, but that was
fixed, now it's just random)
in any case, it's in outland right now, so you might want to
send mail to bug-outland.
I'll see if I can fix it any more.. although I'm not really
an X guru, so the magic of asynchronous, time-related problems
just eludes me..
