Hi

This is not really a bug report, but I didn't know where else to send it. Can
someone install exmh-2.0zeta on athena somewhere? Please- even outland is OK.

Here's a copy of the announcement I got [25 July] from Brent Welch:

I have posted exmh-2.0zeta.tar.Z to
ftp://ftp.sunlabs.com:/pub/tcl/exmh/exmh-2.0zeta.tar.Z
and
http://sunscript.sun.com/dist/exmh-2.0zeta.tar.Z

You may have missed the delta and epsilon releases.

Delta has pretty good, but had problems with ispell.
I made the epsilon release right before leaving town for a week,
and there were problems with exmh-netscape integration, so I
fixed those and made the zeta release. This looks fairly good
and should become the "2.0 final" release with any luck.

I'll include the change logs for delta, epsilon, and zeta.

A word about Tcl 8.0. This is currently at the "b2" release,
<http://sunscript.sun.com/TclTkCore/8.0.html>
and we are planning to go final in three weeks. The b1 and b2 releases
have a core dump, unfortunately, that seems to favor folks with
"click-to-type" window managers. You may want to stay with the "a2"
release, except that that release has races in the focus code.
I may be able to get a patch for the b2 core dump -
you can tell you are about to crash if you get junk characters
in an entry widget. When you delete that window, Tk dumps core.
I have "focus-follows-mouse" and let exmh focus on things for me,
and I never saw the crash. So, you'll have to evaluate for yourself.
I put a periodic one-minute auto-save into sedit, the built-in editor,
so if you do hit a Tk crash, you shouldn't loose your drafts.

Tcl/Tk 8.0 gives you a factor of 2 speed improvement, so if you can
use it it is definitely worth it. The final release should be very solid.
