version 1.6.7 5/3/96
SunOS starkiller 5.4 Generic_101945-37 sun4m sparc
Tk 4.1 Tcl 7.5
Upon receiving mail containing an "X-face:" header, exmh transformed that
into an icon and displayed it. "Ok, no problem," I said to myself, and
went through all the preferences, turning off the only feature set to "on"
in the "Faces" dialog box, saved my preferences, and re-selected the mail
in question. To my suprise and chagrin, exmh displayed the icon. This
time I deleted the entire X-face command line, again saved prefs, and
re-selected the email in question. Again exmh insisted on running the
program I had just deleted from my preferences and displaying the icon.
Again I went to "Faces," and this time I deleted the automagically-appearing
command line and replaced it with /usr/bin/true, which, thankfully, exmh
has not insisted on replacing. This is not a solution; this is a kludge.
The solution is to be able to turn off this undesirable feature out-of-hand.
