Hi. You asked:
>>Why can't I seem to receive xzwrite messages?
>>do I need to add/subtract something from my .zephyr.desc file?
>>tanx
A zephyr message sent by xzwrite is exactly like a message sent by the
normal zwrite program. It is possible that whoever is sending you
messages with xzwrite that you are not receiving is using the program
incorrectly. I suppose it is also possible that there is some subtle
bug that prevents you from seeing them, although this is extremely
unlikely. However, I'd need more information on exactly what kind of
messages you can't receive, how you know they are from xzwrite, etc.
etc. etc. Feel free to give me more information if you think there
really is a problem, and I'll look into it.
By the way, xzwrite is not Athena supported software; it is stored on
the sipb filesystem and is supported by sipb. More specifically, I
wrote the program so I support it. In the future you should send
questions about it directly to me or to the bug-sipb mailing list, and
not to OLC. (This may change in the future, if xzwrite becomes Athena
software. As of now it isn't, however.)
I hope this information helps. Thanks for using OLC!
