Hello, SIPB-crew.
I hope this is a correct way of getting touch with you (i.e. using
this email address). I am a second-year Master's student here studying
Materials and Technology & Policy. My fiance goes to the University of
Houston and is studying Comp. Science. She's a junior who is struggling
through her Compilers course. I am clueless in the area and can't offer
much assistance. Currently, she's working on a project using Lex & Yacc --
a parser. However, her professor is not a good instructor (he simply reads
off his overheads) and the reference text she has does not provide much in
the way of examples (the book from O'Reilly Associates).
A friend of mine suggested that I contact you as it was very likely
that someone in your organization knew Lex & Yacc inside and out. If so, I
would appreciate getting in contact with that person or persons...
specifically to inquire as to whether there are any references or sources of
code that my fiance could access to.
I would love to hear from you. Thank you very much,
Anil Jain
