Hello,
I just want to let you folks know that 'tin' doesn't work too well
in the SPARCstations. In fact, it hasn't worked properly for at
least a year or more. The symptom is that it freezes every time
the user tries to:
* send a posting
* save a posting
* mail a posting to somebody
* reply to a poster via e-mail
When it gets in that state, the only solution seems to be ^Z
and kill the process. After that, sometimes my copy&paste doesn't
work too well and I have to kill the window as well.
I have lost a lot of stuff because of that silly program.
