Unless the servers have changed since last summer, none of them
support XIdle. (that's when I first looked into this) At that time,
at least, running xautolock did, in spite of the note in the
references forwarded here, cause a noticable delay in some X
operations, at least on inf (sparc classic with more than
cluster-normal RAM)
