tcsh evaluates stuff in PATH

THis is pretty hokey. PATH should cause tcsh to hang
or core dump (it did under HPUX):

[yaz-pistachio!jhawk] ~cygnus/decmipsbin> sh
$        

$ PATH='sjadhfsakdhfkja())))))(`ls`dsfa):foobnar:xx'
$   
export PATH
$                  
cd /
$ cd /tmp
$ /afs/sipb/project/tcsh/tcsh
ls: Command not found.
