I recently tried again to use emacs diary mode (with Emacs 19.30), and
found that I couldn't. I tracked the problem down to having
/mit/sipb/lib/elisp too early in my emacs load-path. The sipb locker
diary.elc is dated 1992 (owned by "tron"), and the symlinks to it are
dated 1991 (owned by "warlord").
I'm sure diary.elc isn't the only outdated elisp file in the sipb
locker. Is someone planning to do a cleanup at some point? I'm
afraid I don't know emacs well enough to deal, myself. The best I
could do is come up with recommendations and let y'all correct me...
