Running latex from the current sipb locker should produce the
following message:
Running ${new} version of $CMD. (Thank you for testing!)
Please report problems by sending mail to bug-newtex@mit.edu
with `${new}' replaced with either `the newest' or `a semi-new',
depending on what lockers you might have attached at the time. When
you report this to the correct place, be sure to mention which lockers
you had attached at the time - it'll save you some time. At a guess,
there may be some AFs access problem here, since the newtex locker and
binaries seem to be set up correctly for linux. Also, you should test
the program without any of your personal customizations (TEXINPUTS,
TEXFONTS, etc.) if you have any.

This is a tougher problem; xdvi in the sipb locker relies on having
the fonts in /usr/athena/lib. This wasn't a problem back when we were
pretending that we were going to have a linux srvd, but I'm unsure how
to deal with it now. Suggestions?
