First of all, I apologize for the long delay in responding to your bug
reports. Thank you for reporting this bug, I was able to track it down given
the information in your reports.
Tomorrow the bug should be fixed and you should be able to use exmh to your
heart's content. Please feel free to report any other bugs in exmh that you
run across... unless, of course, it's the 'out of colormap entries' error :)
