A bug report sent to bug-sipb today indicated that we have been somewhat
lax in keeping our manpage databases up to date.. so just in case
people don't know how to do this:
after installing manpages (try to stick to manx/foo.x
where x is a digit from 1 - 8, and not a letter)
log in on a sun, and run
catman -w -M [manpath]
then do the same on an rs6k box
(i.e
catman -w -M /afs/.sipb/project/sipb/man
)
after doing that,
ln -s whatis whatis.db
and all platforms should be happy
(I'm doing this for the sipb and outland lockers now)
