Ok, that's certainly a possibility to keep in mind. I had been thinking
people ran it from the sipb afs cell, given that most of the accesses
have been from sites that have afs (e.g., Iowa State and NCSU).

Um, we have the source code, obviously it can be changed to do
anything we want :-). The new behavior (currently only running on
snork) is for the server to return an error message of the form
Access denied for non-MIT client address 26.1.0.172
The standard client will print this as
webster: Access denied for non-MIT client address 26.1.0.172
Other clients may handle error returns in some other way.
