Hi!
As part of investigating an OLC question I played around with changing
fonts in Mosaic (from the Options/Font menu). It looked like
everything was working fine, and it correctly displayed several
different fonts. Then in my xterm where I started it I got:
mickey-mouse 12 11:33am :-) X Error: BadFont
Major Opcode: 56
and then a little while longer I got:
Congratulations, you have found a bug in
NCSA Mosaic 2.4 (L10N-2.4.0) on Solaris.
If a core file was generated in your directory,
please run 'dbx Mosaic' (or 'dbx /path/Mosaic' if the
Mosaic executable is not in your current directory)
and then type:
dbx> where
and mail the results, and a description of what you were doing at the time,
to mosaic-x@ncsa.uiuc.edu. We thank you for your support.
...exiting NCSA Mosaic now.
and then it exited.
I was just choosing fonts randomly and don't remember exactly which
ones I picked, though. I figured I should check with you guys before
reporting it to that "mosaic-x@ncsa.uiuc.edu" address in case you knew
what was going wrong. The core file is /mit/carla/core.Mosaic; please
let me know when I can remove it.
Thanks,
Carla
