I tried to use 'xscreensaver' in vaxbin and it wouldn't accept my password
nor, would it accept a changed unlock command.

I am afraid that this bug report is not detailed enough for us to take
any action upon it.

When you say that it "wouldn't accept my password," do you mean that
you were able to lock the screen but unable to unlock it? Or do you
mean that it asked you for a password when you went to lock the
screen, and would not accept the one you typed? Do you mean that you
typed the password at the "Enter password:" prompt and it told you
that it was wrong, or that you hit a key to bring up the password
window and it did not come up?

When you say that it would not "accept a changed unlock command," what
do you mean? Do you mean that after you select "change unlock
command" on the menu it does not pop up a window for you to change the
command? Do you mean that when you type the command, xscreensaver
gives you an error? Do you mean that when you lock and unlock the
screen, the command does not get executed and/or you are given an
error?

Without detailed information about a bug, it is quite difficult to do
anything useful with the bug report. Please try to answer these
questions and I will try to help determine the cause of the problem.
